Rachel Brown joined Trammell Crow Company in September 2005 as a financial analyst in the Real Estate Tax Consulting group, and subsequently as a Senior Tax Analyst at CB Richard Ellis (CBRE). At CBRE she served as a National Account Manager, acting as the primary point of contact for all communications with the client during the appeal process.
Currently a Senior Associate at McIntosh & Associates, LLC, she manages the tax appeal process from start to finish with responsibilities including the examination of assessment notices for clerical errors, the review of income and expense surveys prior to submission, the analysis of all relevant data to identify tax saving opportunities, the calculation of net tax savings based on correspondence with the assessor and providing the client with Quarterly customized assessment management reports.
